Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the fuel pump mounting ring on the fuel tank could crack and create a fuel leak. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnMazda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a new fuel pump ring. A thermal insulation pad will also be installed on the fuel tank of RX-8 vehicles.
