Issue: rnOn certain motorcycles, the nuts that secure the exhaust pipe to the engine may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the nuts and securing collars could become loose and separate from the motorcycle. rnrnSafety Risk: rnParts that detach from the motorcycle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnKawasaki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the exhaust pipe gaskets and securing collars, and to install the mufflers correctly.
