Issue: rnOn certain snowmobiles, the throttle safety switch may not work properly when you release the throttle lever. If this happens and the throttle sticks open, you could lose control of the snowmobile. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of control can create the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnPolaris will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your snowmobile to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, adjust the throttle control assembly. To reduce the safety risk, Polaris recommends that you should not use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2022024.
