Issue: rnOn certain motorcycles, the clutch cover bolts may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the bolts could loosen over time and create an oil leak. rnrnSafety Risk: rnAn oil leak near the rear tire could affect handling and control of the motorcycle. This could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, oil that leaks onto hot components could create a fire risk. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBMW Motorrad will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the clutch cover bolts.
