Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the side curtain airbag(s) may not inflate properly in a crash if the driver's or front passenger's windows are rolled down. rnNote: For the Grand Highlander model, this recall affects both Grand Highlander and Grand Highlander Hybrid models. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA side curtain airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnThe company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace both side curtain airbag assemblies.
