Issue:rnCertain child seats may not meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations when installed in a rear-facing position using the universal anchorage system (UAS).rn rnSafety Risk:rnA child seat that doesn't meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations could increase the risk of injury in a crash.rn rnCorrective Actions:rnDiono advises that you may continue to use the seat in a rear-facing position if you install it using the vehicle seat belt.
