Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the wiring for the 400 W radiator cooling fan module may not have proper circuit protection. Additionally, the bearing for the fan could fail. If this happens, the wiring could overheat and melt before the fuse blows. rn rnSafety Risk: rnWiring that overheats and melts could create the risk of a fire. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnFCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the cooling fan module and fuse. The dealer will also install a label on the power distribution center and add an insert to the owner's manual.
