Issue: rnOn certain trucks, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 20C03 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-071) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required.rnrnOn certain trucks, a software problem could cause the daytime running lamps (DRLs) to remain on when switching the master lighting switch from the ''Autolamp'' position to the ''headlamp on'' position. Canadian regulations require the DRLs to turn off when the headlamps are switched on.rnrnSafety Risk: rnDaytime running lamps that stay on could cause glare for oncoming drivers and increase the risk of a crash.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the body control module software.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2026288.
