Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, moisture could enter the rearview camera and could cause the rearview camera image not to display correctly or at all. rnNote: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a standard rearview camera. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA rearview camera image that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnGeneral Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rearview camera.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2026402.
