What the ministry says is wrong
液化石油ガス（ＬＰＧ）車の燃料遮断弁の防水構造が不適切なため、洗車時等に当該遮断弁が直接被水した場合、内部に水が浸入することがある。そのため、当該遮断弁の内部コイルが腐食し、又は短絡して溶損し、最悪の場合、原動機への燃料供給を遮断するため、原動機が停止し、再始動できなくなるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、当該遮断弁を現行新品と交換し、防水カバーを取付ける。また、洗車時の水掛けを禁止する旨を記したコーションプレートを貼り付ける。 なお、防水カバーの全数供給に時間を要するため、暫定措置として当該部品を点検のうえ、規定値を外れるのものは現行新品と交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
