自動変速機及び機械式自動変速機（スムーサ）を搭載した車両は、 ①イグニッションスイッチの電気回路にリレーを追加し配線を対策品に交換 ②コーションプレートを貼付 ③当該スイッチを新品に交換 する。 手動変速機を搭載した車両は、ＡＭラジオ、後付け電装品等の装備状況、当該スイッチにかかる電気負荷及びエンジンの始動状態を確認し、上記①～③のうち、必要な措置を行う。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
