What the notice says 運転者席用エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、インフレータ製造時におけるガス発生剤充填後の吸湿管理が不適切なため、使用過程での外気温等の影響によりガス発生剤が膨張し、密度が低下するものがある。そのため、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ内圧が異常上昇し、インフレータ容器が破損して飛び散り、乗員が負傷するおそれがある。
