What the notice says キャブとフレーム間を接続しているアースケーブルが正しく固定されていないため、車体の振動等により当該ケーブルが断線し、アース不良を起こすものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、電流がステアリング・コラムシャフトを通じてバッテリーへ流れるため、当該シャフト内部のベアリング部が過熱され樹脂製ベアリングシートが溶損し、最悪の場合、ベアリングが破損して、ハンドル操作ができなくなるおそれがある。

全車両、当該ケーブルを点検し、正しく固定されていない場合には、正規位置に固定する。また、損傷のある場合は、アースケーブル及びステアリング・コラムシャフトを新品に交換する。なお、ケーブルの断線時における安全性を高めるため、キャブとフレーム間にアースケーブルを追加装着する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
