エンジンのインテーク側カムシャフトにおいて、構成部品の設計が不適切なものがある。そのため、制動倍力装置に供給される負圧を生成するバキュームポンプへ潤滑オイルが十分に供給されず、バキュームポンプが潤滑不良で固着して、制動倍力装置へ負圧が供給されなくなることにより、最悪の場合、制動停止距離が長くなるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
インテーク側カムシャフトが不具合品であるか及び潤滑オイルの供給状態を点検する。 当該シャフトが不具合品であり、潤滑オイルが十分に供給されていない場合は、当該シャフトを対策品に交換するとともにバキュームポンプを新品に交換する。 当該シャフトが不具合品であり、潤滑オイルが十分に供給されている場合は、当該シャフトに対策品のクランピングスリーブを装着する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
