エンジンコントロールユニットにおいて、冷却系統の異常を検知するための制御プログラムが不適切なため、冷却系統に異常が発生した場合、運転者に対する警告及びエンジン保護制御が行われず、オーバーヒートすることがある。そのため、オーバーヒートの熱でエンジンの樹脂製部品が変形してエンジンオイルが漏れ、最悪の場合、エンジンが焼き付いて走行不能となるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
