VEHICLES PRODUCED AT CHATHAM, ONTARIO FROM JULY 1978 THROUGH JANUARY 1979 AND EQUIPPED WITH SINGLE AND SPLIT HYDRAULIC BRTAKE SYSTEMS. THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE HOSE FROM THE FRAME TO THE REARMOST AXLE OF THE TANDEM BOGI IS NOT OF SUFFICIENT LENGTH. DURING FULL ARTICULATION THE HOSE COULD PULL APART RESULTING IN A PARTIAL (SPLIT SYSTEM) OR TOTAL (SINGLE SYSTEM) LOSS OF BRAKING CAPABILITY.
