What the notice says On vehicles with fabco sda-21 axle housings, the welds that attach the steerable drive mounting flange to the tubular portion of the housing, could break, resulting in the separation of the steerable drive end from the main housing. this could lead to loss of steering and a vehicle crash.

ON VEHICLES WITH FABCO SDA-21 AXLE HOUSINGS, THE WELDS THAT ATTACH THE STEERABLE DRIVE MOUNTING FLANGE TO THE TUBULAR PORTION OF THE HOUSING, COULD BREAK, RESULTING IN THE SEPARATION OF THE STEERABLE DRIVE END FROM THE MAIN HOUSING. THIS COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF STEERING AND A VEHICLE CRASH.
