On certain garbage and recycling trucks, the joystick bracket located in the armrest could contact the buckle portion of the seatbelt and damage it. If the buckle is damaged, the seatbelt may not function as originally intended and, in a crash, could result in personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the seatbelt buckle assembly, and install a deflector.
