Issue: rnOn certain trucks equipped with an automatic transmission, when the engine RPM increases for the stationary power take off (PTO), it can overcome the parking brake if the transmission is in drive or reverse gear. As a result, the truck may move suddenly. rnrnSafety Risk: rnSudden and unexpected movement of the truck could increase the risk of a crash.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnThe company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to update the engine control module software to enable the PTO neutral interlock.
