Issue:rnOn certain vehicles, a wire in the pre-fuse box may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the connection could loosen and cause a loss of power to the wheels. This could also cause the wiring to overheat. rn rnSafety Risk:rnA sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Wiring that overheats can create the risk of a fire. rn rnCorrective Actions:rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to tighten the connection in the pre-fuse box. The dealer will also replace any damaged parts, if necessary.
