エンジンと変速機（トランスミッション）の結合部（クラッチハウジング）の剛性が不足して いるものがあり、また、トランスミッション・メーンシャフト後部のスプライン部と継ぎ 手（アウトプットフランジ）の噛み合い部分の隙間が不適切なため、当該隙間が経年変化な どで増大すると、高速走行時の駆動系振動が大きくなり、クラッチハウジングに亀裂が生 じるものがある。また、クラッチハウジングに鋳造時の傷などがある場合、この亀裂の発 生が早まる可能性がある。このため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると亀裂が進行し、最 悪の場合、クラッチハウジングが破断してトランスミッション又はプロペラシャフトが脱 落、又は周辺部品を破損させ二次的不具合を生じるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
