What the ministry says is wrong

トルクコンバータとトランスミッション間のホースを固定する結束バンドの取り付けが不適切なため、当該ホースと作業装置用ホースを固定するクランプ取り付けボルト間の隙間が不十分なものがある。そのため、車両の振動等によりホースとボルトが接触し、ホース表面が磨耗して穴が空いてオイルが漏れ、最悪の場合、トルクコンバータ油圧警報が鳴るとともに、走行不能となるおそれがある。

What is to be done about it

全車両、当該部分に保護材を巻いたホースに交換するとともに、結束バンドを追加し、ホースとクランプ取り付けボルト間の隙間を確保する。

The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in. This site keeps the wording a register had when it was read, and does not translate a safety notice.

This site gathered the record, grouped it by notification number and set it in English around the ministry's own words; the notice itself is unaltered. タダノ elsewhere in this register

タダノ is named on 63 notices in the copy of MLIT’s register held here, of which these are the nearest to this one in time.

The same part: その他(動力伝達)

190 notices in this register name その他(動力伝達). A defect that keeps returning under one heading is worth reading as a group rather than one notice at a time.

Reading this against the source

This page is what MLIT published in the recall notices it publishes, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /japan, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.

This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Japanese recalls on a Tadano: 63 in the register, and 427 Japanese vehicle recall notifications filed in 2005.
