トルクコンバータ式変速機において、前後進切替操作時のショックを軽減させる皿バネの強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、前後進切替操作を頻繁に行うと、当該バネが破損し、そのまま使用を続けると、破損したバネ小片がクラッチギヤとドラムの間に噛み込み、最悪の場合、ニュートラル状態で車両が動き出すおそれがある。What is to be done about it
