いすゞ Pb-Rx6Jfaj. Published by MLIT as 1117500 on 12 October 2006. Part: 座席.

What the notice says

What the ministry says is wrong

What is to be done about it

全車両、当該背もたれ固定機構を対策品と交換する。

The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in. This site keeps the wording a register had when it was read, and does not translate a safety notice.

This site gathered the record, grouped it by notification number and set it in English around the ministry's own words; the notice itself is unaltered. いすゞ elsewhere in this register

いすゞ is named on 823 notices in the copy of MLIT’s register held here, of which these are the nearest to this one in time.

The same part: 座席

123 notices in this register name 座席. A defect that keeps returning under one heading is worth reading as a group rather than one notice at a time.

Reading this against the source

This page is what MLIT published in the recall notices it publishes, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /japan, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.

This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Japanese recalls on an Isuzu: 834 in the register, and 361 Japanese vehicle recall notifications filed in 2006.
