警察車両において、バッテリーケーブルを固定する樹脂バンドの耐熱性が不足しているため、原動機室内の熱影響により、当該バンドが破損することがある。そのため、バッテリーケーブルが垂れ下がり、排気マニホールドの遮熱板と干渉し、最悪の場合、当該ケーブルの被覆が溶け、短絡して火災に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、当該樹脂バンドを対策品と交換し、金属固定金具を追加してバッテリーケーブルを車体へ固定する。また、バッテリーケーブルの被覆に損傷が認められる場合は、バッテリーケーブルに絶縁テープを巻いて補修する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
