What the ministry says is wrong
４速オートマチックトランスミッションにおいて、トランスミッションケース内部の潤滑油路が不適切なため、高速走行時（６５ｋｍ／ｈ超え）に、プロペラシャフトとの潤滑が不足となることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、トランスミッション後端部が破損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。また、一部の車種においては、プロペラシャフトが外れ、燃料タンクを損傷させ、燃料漏れとなるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、エクステンションハウジング及びプロペラシャフトを点検し、（１）いずれも異常が認められない場合は、オートマチックトランスミッション内に潤滑油路変更用スペーサーを追加する。 （２）エクステンションハウジング及びプロペラシャフトのいずれか、または両方に異常がある場合は、オートマチックトランスミッションのアウトプットシャフトを点検し、異常が認められる場合は、新品のプロペラシャフトおよび潤滑油路を変更した対策品オートマチックトランスミッションに交換する。 （３）エクステンションハウジング及びプロペラシャフトのいずれか、または両方に異常がある場合は、オートマチックトランスミッションのアウトプットシャフトを点検し、異常がない場合は、オートマチックトランスミッション内に潤滑油路変更用スペーサーを追加し、新品のプロペラシャフトおよび新品のエクステンションハウジングに交換する。 なお、改善措置用部品の供給に時間を要することから、当面の暫定措置として 全ての使用者に対し、高速走行（６５ｋｍ／ｈ超え）での使用停止を要請する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
