What the ministry says is wrong

農耕トラクタのステアリングコントローラに付属されるホルダにおいて、水浸入および振動に対する設計が不十分なため、長期間使用することでホルダに接続されるスプラインに錆が発生し、摩耗する。そのため、そのまま使用を続けるとスプラインの摩耗が進み、最悪の場合、ステアリングが空転し、ステアリング操作ができなくなるおそれがある。

What is to be done about it

全車両に対し、水浸入対策としてステアリングコントローラ上部にシール部材を追加し、振動対策としてステアリングコントローラ取付部の周辺部品を補強した改善品（１）に交換する。また、改善措置時にステアリングコントローラを含む周辺部品が固着している場合は、新品（２）に交換する。 なお、改善措置用部品の準備に時間を要するため、２０２２年以前に生産した車両（※）については使用者に不具合内容を通知して使用停止の注意喚起を行う。その際、使用継続を要望されるお客様については該当箇所を点検し、錆が確認されない場合は暫定的に使用継続可とする。錆が確認された場合には、該当部品及び周辺部品を新品（３）へ交換し、暫定的に使用継続可とする。
