スターターモーター、オルタネーター間のバッテリーケーブル内部の配線のかしめが不適切なため、当該配線が短絡し、徐々に焼損して煙が発生したりバッテリーケーブルが断線するおそれがある。バッテリーケーブルが断線すると、オルタネーターによるバッテリーの充電が行われないため、警告灯が点灯し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、原動機が停止し再始動ができなくなる。What is to be done about it
全車両、当該バッテリーケーブルを良品と交換する。その際、取り外したバッテリーケーブルを点検し、短絡によるダメージを確認する。ダメージが確認できた場合は、スターターモーター及びオルタネーターの動作確認をし、正常に動作しないものは新品に交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
