右ハンドル車の電動パワーステアリングにおいて、制御プログラムが不適切なため、電動パワーステアリングシステムに故障が発生した場合、パワーアシストが作動しなくなることや、ステアリングに振動が発生することで、最悪の場合、操舵ができなくなるおそれがある。
