What the ministry says is wrong

 高規格救急車の電気装置において、灯火装置等回路ヒュージブルリンクの容量及び取付 用端子の形状が不適切なため、負荷が高い状態で連続通電を行うと、当該端子部が発熱して 樹脂が溶融し、端子間に樹脂が入り込んで、通電不良となることがあり、前照灯・車幅灯・ 制動灯・非常点滅表示灯・警音器・デフロスタが点灯又は作動しなくなるおそれがある。

What is to be done about it

全車両、①蓄電池上部の位置に端子付きヒュージブルリンクホルダーを設置して既存のハ ーネスに結線し、主電源回路ヒュージブルリンクをホルダーに移動する。②灯火装置等回 路ヒュージブルリンクを対策品に交換し、主電源回路ヒュージブルリンクのあった位置に 設置する。

The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in. This site keeps the wording a register had when it was read, and does not translate a safety notice.

This site gathered the record, grouped it by notification number and set it in English around the ministry's own words; the notice itself is unaltered. ニッサン elsewhere in this register

ニッサン is named on 593 notices in the copy of MLIT’s register held here, of which these are the nearest to this one in time.

The same part: ヒューズ

35 notices in this register name ヒューズ. A defect that keeps returning under one heading is worth reading as a group rather than one notice at a time.

Reading this against the source

This page is what MLIT published in the recall notices it publishes, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /japan, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.

This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Japanese recalls on a Nissan: 606 in the register, and 215 Japanese vehicle recall notifications filed in 2001.
