前輪独立懸架車の走行装置において、前輪ハブ内側軸受け部の水浸入防止構造が不適切なため、当該軸受け内部に泥水が浸入して錆付き・摩耗が生じるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、車体振動・異音が発生し、最悪の場合、当該軸受けが破損し、走行不能となるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
（１）２輪駆動車 全車両、ハブオイルシール部への被水を防止するため、防水カバー、ハブオイルシールを対策品に交換する。また、ナックルのオイルシール部が発錆している場合があるため、当該部にリテーナーを追加圧入する。さらに、軸受けを点検し、異常のあるものは新品と交換する。 （２）４輪駆動車 全車両、ハブオイルシール部への被水を防止するため、防水カバーを対策品に交換する。また、ハブオイルシールを新品と交換するとともに、軸受けを点検し、異常のあるものは新品と交換する。さらに、ナックルのオイルシール部が発錆している場合はナックルを新品に交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
