What the notice says スロットルボディに取付けられたスロットルポジションセンサーにおいて、ケースとカバーとの接着部の強度が不足しているため、当該センサーを取付ける際の締付け力等により、当該接着部に亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、雨天走行等により当該センサー内部に水が浸入し、誤った信号を発信して適正な空燃比制御ができず、最悪の場合、排気ガス値が基準値を超える、又は原動機が停止して再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
