機械式自動変速機のギヤシフトユニットの呼吸ホースの構造が不適切なため、当該ホースから水が浸入してギヤシフトユニット内部に錆が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けるとモーター等が固着し、シフト不能になるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、呼吸ホースを対策品に交換する。また、当該ホースの接続コネクタ内部に錆があるものは接続コネクタを新品に交換し、ギヤシフトユニット内部を点検する。点検の結果、内部に錆があるものは、ギヤシフトユニットを新品と交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
