大型・中型トラックのインタアクスルディファレンシャルにおいて、インプットシャフトフランジの製造が不適切なため、インプットシャフトの回転バランスがとれていないものがある。そのため、インプットシャフトの回転がアンバランスとなり、ベアリングが損傷し、そのまま使用を続けると、ベアリングが焼き付き、インプットシャフトが折損して、最悪の場合、プロペラシャフトが脱落して走行不能となるおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、インタアクスルディファレンシャルを良品と交換する。また、ディファレンシャルオイル量を点検し、オイル量が不足している場合は、ディファレンシャルキャリア一式を良品と交換する。なお、交換用部品の全数供給に時間を要することから、オイル漏れの点検を行い、漏れが認められた車両から順次、インタアクスルディファレンシャルを良品と交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
