What the notice says 大型トラクタの２軸式カプラにおいて、製造工程の作業性改善で設計変更したロックガード（誤連結防止部品）の形状が不適切なため、トラクタとトレーラの高さが合っていない状態で連結操作を行うと、ロックガードが正しく作動せず誤連結状態となるとともに、インストルメントクラスタに「トレーラ連結完了」のメッセージが表示されることがある。そのため、目視による連結状態を確認しないまま使用を続けると、走行中にトラクタとトレーラが分離するおそれがある。

What the ministry says is wrong

大型トラクタの２軸式カプラにおいて、製造工程の作業性改善で設計変更したロックガード（誤連結防止部品）の形状が不適切なため、トラクタとトレーラの高さが合っていない状態で連結操作を行うと、ロックガードが正しく作動せず誤連結状態となるとともに、インストルメントクラスタに「トレーラ連結完了」のメッセージが表示されることがある。そのため、目視による連結状態を確認しないまま使用を続けると、走行中にトラクタとトレーラが分離するおそれがある。

What is to be done about it

全車両、ロックガードの形状を確認し、交換対象の場合はロックガードを対策品と交換し、ジョー上面とロックガードＲ部頂点を計測の上、必要に応じて調整する。なお、対策品に交換するまでの間、使用者へ連結操作時にトラクタとトレーラの高さを合わせること、および完了後に連結状態を目視確認することを周知する。
