What the notice says 手動変速機付きの四輪駆動車において、トランスミッションケースとトランスファケースのクリアランス設定が不適切なため、組付け状態によっては干渉しており、デファレンシャルサイドベアリングに過荷重が加わって、当該ベアリングが破損することがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、当該ベアリングの破損片でオイルシールが損傷してオイルが漏れ、最悪の場合、走行不能になるおそれがある。

全車両、トランスミッションケースとトランスファケースの干渉の有無を点検し、干渉している場合は、トランスファケースの干渉部位を修正すると共に、デファレンシャルサイドベアリングとオイルシールを新品に交換し、さらに、トランスミッションの内部の部品を点検して、損傷が認められる場合は、当該部品を新品に交換する。また、干渉していない場合は、トランスファケースの干渉部位を修正する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
