②四輪駆動車の動力伝達装置において、前軸差動装置のギヤ比の設定が不適切なため、後 輪タイヤの摩耗状態や積載条件によっては、四輪駆動で走行すると、前後輪のタイヤ回転 数差に比例して動力伝達装置にねじりトルクが発生し、四輪駆動から二輪駆動への切り換 え操作をしているにもかかわらず、二輪駆動になっていないことがある。そのため、高速 走行を行うと、前軸差動装置が異常に発熱し、オイルシールが損傷してオイルが漏れ、ベ アリングやギヤが焼付き、最悪の場合、前輪がロックして走行不能に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
