トラックの車両後部に架装した荷役装置（テールゲートリフタ）を作動させるための電動油圧発生装置（パワーユニット）において、走行中の飛び石等で当該パワーユニットのユニットカバーが破損することにより、融雪剤、汚泥及び雨水等がマグネットスイッチ部に堆積し、加えてマグネットスイッチカバーに割れ等があった場合、融雪剤が雨水等により溶けて塩水となり、当該マグネットスイッチの内部に侵入する場合がある。そのため、マグネットスイッチがショートし、火災に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、ユニットカバーの破損及びマグネットスイッチカバーの割れ等を点検し、マグネットスイッチの取り付け位置を上方に変更する。また、全車両、ユニットカバー及びマグネットスイッチカバーの割れ等があった場合には、ユニットカバー及びマグネットスイッチを新品に交換する。更にユニットカバーに、使用上における注意事項を明記した注意ラベルを貼付けするとともに、使用者に対し、使用上の注意事項及び点検整備の励行について啓蒙を図る。 なお、改善措置用部品の供給に時間を要することから、当面の暫定措置として、ユニットカバー及びマグネットスイッチ部を点検し、マグネットスイッチ部に堆積物がある場合は除去し、ユニットカバー及びマグネットスイッチカバーに割れ等の損傷があった場合には、シーリングやテープ補修の措置を行う。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
