What the notice says メインハーネスから電気回路を分岐させるコネクタ部がテープで覆われているため、雨天走行等でメインハーネス先端より浸入した雨水等が保護チューブ内を伝わりコネクタ部が浸水すると、溜まった水が電線内の芯線を伝わって後輪用制動灯スイッチまで達することがある。そのため、スイッチ接点が錆びて導通不良となり、後輪制動時に制動灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
